              | There are many useful tools on a Scout Camp that are vital for Scouts to learn how to use correctly and safely. Knives, axes and saws are all potentially dangerous when used incorrectly, however without them, a regular Scout camp would be a lot more challenging. |
              | Swiss Army KnivesSwiss army knives are very useful around camp. Choosing the right knife for a Scout is important. In most cases Scouts want the thickest knife with all the bells and whistles. In my experience, Scouts require a knife with a sharp blade. The rest of the tools are infrequently used and are just optional extras. Over the years I have collected various pen knives and my single blade opinel is one of my favourites. In a camp situation, multitools are not as good as a folding knife.
